Glass Carving
For Architectural and Private Homes
Sand carved glass can create an elegant texture, or complex design for your home or office. If you have a large dividing window between offices or door sidelites in your home, you can achieve a very attractive and obscure design, pattern or texture to give a classy sense of privacy, without looking like you are trying to achieve privacy. You can also create beautiful borders, picturesque murals and scenes on table tops, mirrors, windows, frames and counter tops.
We invite you to see some of the creative applications our clients have used in their homes and offices.
Sand Carved Glass Dividers
Adding a little "public" privacy
The San Francisco International Airport
San Francisco, Ca.
Several small areas of the San Francisco International airport contain restaurants and seating. Most people enjoy being able to sit down at a table to enjoy a conversation, read a book or have a small meal while waiting for a departing flight. Getting a little personal space situated in a very public areas such as an airport can be difficult to achieve, especially when seating in lobbies and walkways is limited. Adding a glass-divider between tables and busy areas or even other tables creates a well defined space that helps to suppress back-ground noise, give a touch of artistic creativity and is easily lit since glass reflects and refracts light.
